Strategic Plan

Leaf Strategic Plan sets out the priorities established for the farmers and informs the public about our important work. Leaf Green Initiative

LEAF strategic partnership with Mastercard , Sagri & Bayer

LEAF in a technology partnership with Mastercard has launched LEAF Farmer Network. LEAF Farmer Network digitizes marketplaces, payments, workflows, and farmer transaction histories by connecting buyers, farming inputs, suppliers, AgTechs, and banks with FPOs/farmers, helping to create a commercially sustainable ecosystem comprising all relevant agriculture value chain players with equitable commercial exchange mechanisms.

LFN supports the farmers through comprehensive training and capacity building in the entire lifecycle of the harvest, including post-harvest management to reduce wastage.LFN will empower farmers across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu with digitization of harvest data.

Sagri, a Japan-based satellite technology services provider in strategic partnership with Lawrencedale
Agro Processing India (LEAF), India’s leading agri tech major, has joined a landmark project opportunity from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to improve the livelihoods of small and marginalfarmers in India. The Sagri-LEAF consortium will engage with the Himachal Pradesh government tobring in proactive actionable data which can predict the quality and yield of the produce.

The Sagri-LEAF partnership, by leveraging the strategic funding by JICA, will deploy Satellite Big Data,
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning solutions to predict harvest yields, improve nutrition
content and work on diversification of crops to mitigate the risks. The proprietary platform builds on
analysing satellite data using AI technology and by letting AI learn the characteristics of satellite data of
various states on the ground, it will create a state in which AI can make predictions.”
